The Spanish publisher Ediciones Rosetta SL has recently released the book ‘Georges Delerue. De la Nouvelle Vague a Hollywood’ (Georges Delerue. From the Nouvelle Vague to Hollywood) by Juan Ignacio Valenzuela, offering a thorough study of the figure of the French composer Georges Delerue (Roubaix, France, 1925-Los Angeles, United States, 1992) who, together with Michel Legrand and Antoine Duhamel, was the official musician of the Nouvelle Vague.

 

This book aims to highlight the figure of Delerue, a composer for all the arts, based on rigorous research that has handled unpublished information, and more than fifty interviews with professionals from different fields (music, production, direction, music editing…) who worked or had personal contact with the composer.
