With the title ‘Los Clásicos en el Cine (The Classics in the Cinema)’, the Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia will offer a concert this Saturday, November 3rd at the Chamber Hall of the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid (Spain), where people will be able to listen to many classical works that have been used representatively in the movies.
The concert, organized by the Excelentia Foundation, will include the following pieces:
- Mozart: Bodas de Fígaro, Obertura
- Rossini: El Barbero de Sevilla, Obertura
- Tchaikovsky: La bella durmiente, Vals
- Brahms: Danza húngara nº5
- Grieg: Peer Gynt La mañana
- Massenet: Thais, Meditación
- Mascagni: Intermezzo Cavalleria Rusticana
- Bizet: Les Toreadors (Carmen)
- Verdi: La Forza del Destino (Obertura)
- Mozart: Concierto para Clarinete en La Mayor
- Elgar: Pompa y Circunstancia
- Offenbach: Can Can
- Tchaikovsky: Vals de las Flores, El Cascanueces
- Rossini: Guillermo Tell, Obertura
- Beethoven: Sinfonía nº 5 – 4º Movimiento
