Yesterday, Tuesday, August 25th, the Baluarte Foundation presented the events of their 2020-2021 season, where we can find a concert entitled ‘Special tribute to Ennio Morricone’ to be held on Thursday, 14 January 2021 at the Baluarte venue in Pamplona (Spain), performed by the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra / Navarre Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vanessa Garde.

The recently deceased Maestro Ennio Morricone (Rome, 1928-2020), created throughout his long and fruitful life the score of more than 500 films, many of which we will always remember for their music such as: For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in America, Novecento, Cinema Paradiso or The Mission.

His music is the soundtrack of the cinema of the last 70 years, although, as he used to say, he did not compose soundtracks but music to make movies.

NOTE: The use of MASKS during the concert will be MANDATORY / The capacity of the hall will be reduced to 75% due to increased security measures.
