The Detroit Symphony Orchestra conducted by Damon Gupton, featuring Terence Blanchard, the E-Collective, and vocalists Quiana Lynell and Ledisi, will perform on Sunday, June 2nd a concert entitled ‘The Movie Music of Spike Lee’ in Detroit.
Film director Spike Lee and trumpet player and composer Terence Blanchard have shared a long and fruitful relationship on their numerous collaborations together. The concert will showcase stunning scores and songs from eight Spike Lee films, with specially-designed images of the films projected throughout the performance.
