The Royal Film Concert Orchestra conducted by Kynan Johns will offer a concert next Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 at the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid (Spain), dedicated to the soundtracks of the golden years of Hollywood with films such as Casablanca, The Sting, Doctor Zhivago or Ben-Hur among others.

 

The concert, organized by the Excelentia Foundation, will have the following planned program:

  • Frederick Loewe – My Fair Lady
  • Miklós Rózsa – Quo Vadis
  • Miklós Rózsa – Ben-Hur
  • Henry Mancini – The Pink Panther
  • Marvin Hamlisch – The Sting
  • Nino Rota – Amarcord, Romeo and Juliet, La Strada
  • Nino Rota – The Godfather
  • Maurice Jarre – Lawrence of Arabia
  • Maurice Jarre – Doctor Zhivago
  • Elmer Bernstein – The Great Escape
  • Ennio Morricone – Once Upon a Time in America
  • Nacio Herb Brown, Arthur Freed – Singin’ in the Rain
  • Elmer Bernstein – The Magnificent Seven
  • Malcolm Arnold – The Bridge on the River Kwai
