The People’s Orchestra conducted by Rob Spalton will perform at the Tolkien 2019 festival, on Thursday, 8th of August, with two 45-minute sets based on Tolkien’s works and adaptations. The audience will be able to listen to three pieces from Lord of the Rings, two pieces from The Hobbit, alongside some other beautiful pieces from their repertoire.

 

Tolkien 2019 is a celebration of J.R.R. Tolkien and 50 years of The Tolkien Society, to be held in Birmingham (UK) from 7-11 August 2019. The Tolkien Society was founded in 1969 as an educational, literary, friendly, and even spiritual home of people in the UK and the rest of the world, with a fondness for Tolkien and his works.
