Itzhak Perlman, famous violinist winner of 15 Grammy Awards, 4 Emmy Awards and soloist in Oscar winner soundtrack Schindler’s List, will serenade the public with his favorite music from 50 years of cinematic history, in two concerts to be held today and tomorrow in Ottawa (Canada).

The concerts, performed by the NAC Orchestra and conducted by Alexander Shelley, will have selections from movies such as Schindler’s List or Casablanca (As Time Goes By), with arrangements by John Williams and mastered by Perlman’s hands in a 1714 Stradivarius violin.

A free pre-concert talk will be held both days at 7:00 p.m. with conductor Alexander Shelley and arts journalist Natasha Gauthier (read more: https://nac-cna.ca/en/event/17238).
