Screen Music Connect is a new event series, set to explore and celebrate the richly diverse world of Screen Music and the talent behind it, dedicating a full day to talk about film, television and video game music.

 

Created and directed by composer James Hannigan, Screen Music Connect is aimed at the music production communities of all media industries – from pro, semi-pro and amateur composers through to producers, engineers, music supervisors, and audio directors – plus viewers, fans of soundtracks and anyone with an interest in the evolution of screen music.

 

Screen Music Connect‘s inaugural event will take place on Monday 24th of September at the Purcell Room, Southbank Centre, London (UK) and will have among its many panelists the following professionals:  Debbie Wiseman (Composer/Conductor), Jessica Curry (BAFTA Award-winning Composer), Olivier Derivière (BAFTA Nominated Composer), Richard Jacques (Ivor Novello and BAFTA Nominated composer), Vasco Hexel (Composer, Royal College of Music), Philip Sheppard (Film and Game Composer), John Broomhall (Composer, Music Artist), Christian Henson (Multi award-winning Composer and co-founder of Spitfire Audio), Dru Masters (TV and Film Composer), Ed Newton-Rex (Composer; Founder and CEO, Jukedeck), Patrick Jonsson (Emmy Nominated Film Composer), James Hannigan (Creative Director of Screen Music Connect and Multi-Award Winning Composer), James Williams (Managing Director, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra), and Darrell Alexander (Agent & CEO of COOL Music Ltd), among many others.
