Silent film classics with live musical accompaniment are the recipe for success behind the UFA Film Nights, which will be celebrated one more year in Brussels (Belgium) during the following three days.

 

On Thursday 20th at 8 pm, composer Carl Davis with conduct the Brussels Philharmonic to his music for the silent and B&W film ‘Safety Last (Harold Lloyd, 1923)’.

On Friday 21st at 8 pm, within the ‘Film Classics With Electronic Music’ cycle, the silent and B&W film ‘Les Vampires – Episode 2 & 3 (Louis Feuillade, 1915)’ will projected, with electronic music composed and performed by Arandel (Aurélien Bianco foley artist – Kevyn Diana foley artist).

On Saturday 22nd at 8 pm, within the ‘Film Classics With Ensemble’ cycle, the silent and B&W film ‘Der Geiger Von Florenz (Paul Czinner, 1925/26)’ will be projected, with music composed by Uwe Dierksen and performed by the I Solisti di Francoforte instrumental ensemble.
