BAFTA 72nd edition – Nominees
Yesterday, January 9th, the BAFTA nominees were announced, with the film The Favourite present in 12 categories, and the films Bohemian Rhapsody, First Man, Roma and A Star Is Born following with 7 nominations.
BAFTA Awards are given by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts which brings together personalities from the film, television and video games industries in the UK.
These awards, which are already in their 72nd edition, are divided into 24 categories, where at the musical level we have the following:

- Terence Blanchard – BLACKkKLANSMAN
- Nicholas Britell – If Beale Street Could Talk
- Alexandre Desplat – Isle Of Dogs
- Marc Shaiman – Mary Poppins Returns
- Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Lukas Nelson – A Star Is Born

The ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 10 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, will be hosted by the actress Joanna Lumley, and will be broadcast live on British television channels BBC One / BBC One HD.
