Boston Pops & Keith Lockhart – ‘Celebrating John Williams’

Boston Pops orchestra conducted by Keith Lockhart will give a cycle of concerts at the Symphony Hall in Boston (Massachusetts), to honor the 85th birthday of John Williams in a series called “Boston Pops – Celebrating John Williams“.

 

On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 of May will be the turn of E.T. In Concert where you can enjoy the screening of the film, accompanied by John Williams’ Oscar-winning music performed live.

On Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 24 of May will be the turn of two special concerts called “Lights! Camera! Music! The Magic of John Williams“, where Boston Pops under the baton of Keith Lockhart, will perform classics from John Williams’ repertoire as well as some lesser known pieces, having a program with music from Hook, Harry Potter or E.T. among others.

On Thursday 25 and Friday 26 of May will be the turn of Jaws in Concert  where you can enjoy the screening of the film, accompanied by John Williams’ Oscar-winning music performed live.

And to finish the cycle, on Wednesday, May 31 at 8:00 pm and Thursday, June 1 at 8:00 pm, the traditional John Williams’ Film Night concert will be held, as it was previously informed in SoundTrackFest in the following news (read news), where maestro John Williams and Keith Lockhart will share podium to conduct Boston Pops, in two concerts that are already sold out since February.
