FIMUCITÉ 13 – Randy Edelman and Antón García Abril

Composers Randy Edelman and Antón García Abril will join the 13th edition of the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ), adding their name to the guest list already announced of Harry Manfredini, Christopher Young, and Vince DiCola.

 

Randy Edelman will take the baton during the concert that will close this year’s program, on Sunday, September 29th, ‘Champions of the Silver Screen’, to conduct pieces of ‘Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story’ (1993) and ‘Angels in the Outfield’ (1994). The concert will also include the music that Antón García Abril composed for the sports information spaces of the Spanish Television in the 80s. Antón García Abril will also participate on Friday, September 27th, in the concert ‘My Favorite Fears’, which will perform and premiere the soundtrack of ‘La noche del terror ciego’ (1972).

 

Both Randy Edelman and Antón García Abril will be part of the FIMUCITÉ Film Scoring Academy, the Fimucité Academy for Audiovisual Composers, a free activity encompassed within the festival’s educational program, aimed at students and professionals interested in specialized training by professionals of the sector.
