Goya Awards 32nd edition – Nominees

As usual in December, we continue with news about nominations to various awards, and in this case, it is going to be the Spanish “Oscars”, the Goya Awards, that celebrate their 32nd edition.

 

Organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain, they have the purpose of rewarding the best professionals in each of the different specialties of the sector, both technical and creative.

 

Handia is the film with the most options in the awards with 13 nominations, among them the Best Film and Best Direction, with La Librería following closely with 12 nominations and El Autor with 9 nominations.

 

Divided into a total of 28 categories, we highlight the following, in which you can see some usual names of these nominations:

Best original music/score

  • Pascal Gaigne – Handia
  • Alberto Iglesias – La cordillera
  • Alfonso de Vilallonga – La librería
  • Eugenio Mira – Verónica

 

Best original song

  • José Luis Perales – Algunas veces (Película: El autor)
  • Alfonso de Vilallonga – Feeling Lonely on a Sunday Afternoon (Película: La librería)
  • José Miguel Conejo Torres (Leiva) – La llamada (Película: La llamada)
  • Roque Baños – Rap Zona Hostil (Película: Zona hostil)

The gala will be held next Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel in Madrid, where in addition to the awards, the Honorary Goya will be presented to the actress Marisa Paredes.
