Pascal Gaigne wins the best original score award at Festival de Málaga 2020

The Festival de Málaga – Cinema in Spanish, which celebrates its 23rd edition from August 21-30 (after postponing it from 13-22 March, 2020), announced yesterday their awards, also known as Golden Biznagas and Silver Biznagas, in honor of the emblematic Biznaga, a jasmine bouquet in the shape of a ball that can be seen in summer through the streets of the city.

 

The Silver Biznaga for Best Original Music has gone to composer Pascal Gaigne, for his soundtrack for the movie ‘Malpaso’ by Héctor Valdez, being this the 3rd time he receives this award (Plan de Fuga in 2017 & 20 Centímetros in 2006)

The Golden Biznaga for the Best Spanish Film, endowed with 12,000 euros, has been for the film Las niñas by Pilar Palomero and the Golden Biznaga for the Best Ibero-American Film, endowed with 12,000 euros, has been for the film Summer White (Blanco de verano) by Rodrigo Ruiz Patterson
