‘PlayStation in Concert – World Premiere’ at the Royal Albert Hall

On Wednesday, 30th of May, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., the World Premiere of the video game event called ‘PlayStation in Concert’ will be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Michael Seal, with the voices of the City of London Choir.

 

The concert will feature music from different PlayStation games spanning Original PlayStation, PS2, PS3, and PS4, orchestrated for the concert by Jim Fowler.

 

The full program has already been revealed, and it will contain music from the following games: Crash Bandicoot, Warhawk, Resident Evil, Medievil, Arc The Lad, Ico, Dark Cloud, Flow, LittleBigPlanet, Echochrome, Shadow Of The Colossus, Moss, Killzone 2, Wonderbook, Journey, The Last Of Us, Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, The Order 1886, Blood And Truth, God Of War, The Last Guardian, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

PlayStation in Concert - World Premiere

 

Jessica Curry, BAFTA award-winning composer for the soundtrack of the game Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, will host the show, which will include spectacular light effects. The concert, produced in association with Classic FM, will also feature the first use of EnCue at the Royal Albert Hall – a real-time programme note app that delivers media and content to concertgoers’ smartphones as the music unfolds from the stage.
