Tribute to John Williams on the TCM channel – Detailed Programming

Tomorrow, Saturday, January 7, TCM (Turner Classic Movies) channel will have a special program to pay homage to composer John Williams, which will be repeated three weeks later, on Saturday, January 21

 

The tribute will consist of the broadcast of several films that have music of this great composer, and will feature as main course the ceremony held last June in Los Angeles by the American Film Institute to grant John Williams the AFI Life Achivement Award, being thus the first composer to receive that award.

In this ceremony, in which the composer was honored by comrades like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas or Harrison Ford, he received the award from the hands of his friend Steven Spielberg, as we advanced in the following news (read news).

10:00 p.m. – AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to John Williams (2016)

11:10 p.m. – The Sugarland Express (1974)
