UPDATE 9/3/2017: Videos added at the end of the article, which have been published for free on YouTube by Blizzard.
Yesterday, Tuesday 22nd of August, one of Europe’s largest video game events, Gamescom, started at the Koelnmesse fairgrounds in Cologne (Germany). Although the fair started yesterday and will be held until next Saturday 26th, on its first day it was open only to the professional public and is today Wednesday 23 when it will open its doors to the general public.
These concerts are encompassed within the Video Games Live (VGL) tour that has been travelling the world since 2005, as we already told in the following news (read news), a tour that visited Germany in the 2008 edition of the Gamescom.
Both concerts will have the presence of VGL founder Tommy Tallarico and will be performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Russell Brower, being free for visitors who have access to the fair. Tickets to the Gamescom are sold out right now, although it will be possible to get half-day tickets at the box office based on availability:
Anyway, for those who don’t get tickets, don’t panic, the concerts can be followed in a live Streaming by courtesy of Blizzard at the following link:
