Este viernes 23 de julio, la directora de orquesta y premiada compositora Eímear Noone se pondrá al frente de la RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra para ofrecernos un concierto online gratuito que viajará a través de la historia de los videojuegos: desde HALO hasta HADES, pasando por Final Fantasy, Fortnite, Castlevania, Civilization y una ópera rock de Tetris (¡¿por qué no?!).
Concebido y con arreglos realizados por Eímear Noone y Craig Stuart Grafinkle, el concierto reunirá el rock y la electrónica junto a grandes partituras orquestales, diseñado para ofrecer una mezcla de grandes éxitos nostálgicos con temas actuales, desde mega-títulos Triple A, hasta galardonados indie favoritos de los fans.
En palabras de Eímear Noone: “Working at home with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra is always meaningful and rewarding for me, both musically and personally. There’s nothing like it! I’m inspired by the innovative programming and thinking surrounding the orchestra at the moment and by how the orchestra pulled together as a team – a ceolfhoireann in every sense – during of most difficult periods in music history to continue to serve the Irish public and music itself.
