Desde 1935, la London Symphony Orchestra – LSO ha contribuido a las bandas sonoras de más de doscientas películas, incluidas algunas de las más grandes jamás realizadas.

 

Esta velada, primera de una serie de conciertos, rendirá homenaje a las partituras de películas grabadas por la LSO a lo largo de las décadas que muestran a compositores que viven y trabajan en el Reino Unido y Estados Unidos, con introducciones e historias de los músicos de la LSO.

 

Con música de películas como Star Wars, Things to Come, Henry V, Harry Potter, Cinderella y Braveheart, de compositores que van desde Sir Arthur Bliss a Patrick Doyle, y desde Bernard Herrmann a John Williams.
