🏠 #StayHome and listen to the concert prepared especially for you by ⭐ Jeff Beal ⭐
The winner of three Prime Time Emmy statuettes visited the Film Music Festival in Kraków in 2015 to present the suite from one of the most exciting TV series of recent years. “House of Cards” received myriad prestigious awards and critics’ acclaim, and captivated the hearts of viewers all over the globe! So what has Jeff Beal prepared for us this time?
👉 On Sunday 24 May we will hear:
✅ Music from “House of Cards”, telling the story of Frank Underwood – a ruthless politician whose treachery and desire for revenge know no bounds. The series received two Golden Globes and 106 nominations for other awards! Now it’s time to focus on the music!
✅ There will also be an encounter with one of the most famous TV detectives. The protagonist of “Monk” is a former policeman, suffering from OCD which intensified in the wake of the brutal murder of his wife. He is a truly inspired detective.
✅ The next instalment of the programme is music from the film “The Sweet Life”. Kenny is a depressed ice-cream salesman from Chicago. One evening he encounters Lolita – a vivacious young woman with purple hair. Although they couldn’t be more different, they decide to go on a road trip to San Francisco and, once there, to throw themselves off the Golden Gate Bridge. Their journey inadvertently turns into a romantic adventure.
✅ But that’s not all – Jeff Beal has prepared plenty of musical surprises!
👉 LIVE FROM THE STUDIO is a brand-new cycle from the Film Music Festival, helping us all #StayAtHome and spend our free time with the finest live film music. We kicked off on 4 April by visiting Atanas Valkov. The following week, on Sunday 12 April, we visited Aleksander Dębicz, and on 19 April we paid a visit to the studio of Jean Michel Bernard. More recently, we also spent time with Łukasz Targosz, Atli Örvarsson, Matthijs Kieboom and Jan Stokłosa. This time we pay a visit to Jeff Beal’s studio.
