Emma-nominated Game Music Collective will perform at the Mikkeli Music Festival on 4.8.2024. This orchestra, assembled by cellist Lukas Stasevskiy from young, cutting-edge musicians, is Europe’s first professional orchestra dedicated to game music.

 

Selected as the 2023 Emma Classical nominee, RESTART (Finnish Game Music Revised) is a cross-section of Finnish game music performed by a 50-piece orchestra.

 

The songs on the album have been selected in collaboration with Finland’s biggest game companies such as Remedy, Supercell and Rovio. The arrangements are made by Markus Kärki, a member of the core team at Game Music Collective.

 

The GMC will perform at the Mikkeli Music Festival with soprano Iris Candelaria and the Male Choir Alvar.
