Analysis of acclaimed examples.

• Film music and its relationships with other sound elements (voices, noises, silences) and with images. Notes on a history of technology, intermediality, entanglements with the music industry, moments of technological change, techniques, and their narrative impacts on films and their reception.

• Plinio Profeta is a musician, film score composer, and music producer. He has won the Best Original Soundtrack award from the Brazilian Academy of Cinema twice, for «O Palhaço» in 2011 and «O Filme da Minha Vida» in 2018. Early in his career, Profeta won a Latin Grammy for producing Lenine’s album «Falange Canibal.»
