This Saturday, December 16th, Sara Andon will be the main performer in a special Christmas concert called ‘Sounds of the Season – Music From The Movies with Sara Andon’, where she will team up with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daniel Brier, and the Kalamazoo Children’s Chorus directed by Fred Sang.

 

The program will include the following music:

  • Alan Silvestri – Suite from The Polar Express
  • Forsyth – Viola Concerto in G minor, First Movement
  • John Williams – Three Holiday Songs from Home Alone
  • Albert Hague – Medley from How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  • Kristen Anderson-Lopez – Music from Frozen

  • John Debney – Suite from Elf
  • Vince Guaraldi – Suite from A Charlie Brown Christmas (arr. William Ross)
  • Bernard Herrmann – “On This Darkest Day of Winter” from A Christmas Carol

  • James Pierpont “Jingle Bells” (arr. Michel Legrand)
  • Henry Mancini – Christmas Rhapsody from Santa Claus: The Movie
