Manchester (United Kingdom), will hold this weekend the convention ‘For the Love of Sci-Fi’ that will feature the Piccadilly Symphony Orchestra performing several concerts on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 of December, with a film music repertoire from fantasy and science fiction movies such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter and Battlestar Galactica among others.
As a curiosity, the convention will also feature full-scale replicas of Darth Vader, a Tie Fighter, a Viper Mark II from Galactica, the Ghostbusters car ECTO-1 and KITT from Knight Rider TV series.
Among the guests at the convention are iconic figures such as William Shatner (Star Trek), Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV), David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider), Casper Van Diem (Starship Troopers), Ian McDiarmid (Star Wars), Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Jennifer Runyon (Ghostbusters) and Zach Galligan (Gremlins). A whole cast, that the lucky ones attending the convention will be able to see in person!
