Woody Allen on tour in Spain in June 2019

The famous director, actor and screenwriter Woody Allen, who also plays the clarinet every Monday with his band The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band at the Café Carlyle in New York, will tour Europe this summer, visiting Spain in June of 2019, specifically for three cities: Bilbao (16/6), Barcelona (18/6) and Madrid (20/6).

 

The Euskalduna Palace will be the venue for the band to perform in Bilbao on Sunday, June 16th, after 15 years since their last visit to the city, the Jardins de Pedralbes Festival will be the place for their Barcelona concert on Tuesday, June 18th, and on Thursday, June 20th, they will be in Madrid, within the Noches del Botanico summer festival.

 

The band will offer a varied repertoire in each of its shows, with a collection of songs from the early twentieth century, hymns, blues, and rag, inspired by a variety of legendary artists such as Sidney Bechet, George Lewis, Johnny Dodds, Jimmie Noone, and Louis Armstrong.
