On May 6th, Sinfonietta Cracovia invites young audiences to a new concert, to celebrate the birthday of the Wawel Dragon, the sculpture by Bronisław Chromy, which has been roaming the Wawel Castle in Krakow for half a century.

 

On this occasion the orchestra has prepared a fairytale program for the youngest music lovers: music from the film “How to Train Your Dragon”, many children’s songs, birthday attractions, and a competition for the most interesting costumes in a dragon theme.

 

Program:

  • Tadeusz Kocyba – “Powrót Baltazara Gąbki”
  • Romuald Twardowski – “Serenada na orkiestrę smyczkową” cz. 3
  • John Powell – “How to train a dragon: Test drive”
  • John Powell – “This is Berk”
  • Johannes Brahms – “Kołysanka”
  • …and songs from the children’s repertoire
