The ‘Mozart | Doyle’ concert is a musical fusion of two worlds: classical and film music. The repertoire of the Viennese maestro and the universe of cinema intermingle in this concert, and talk to each other in the language of emotions.

 

Sinfonietta Cracovia has invited two exceptional artists to co-create the concert: Patrick Doyle, twice Oscar-nominated composer, who will be present at the concert, and pianist Radoslaw Kurek, known for his expressive interpretations.

 

In the first part of the evening, the soloist will perform one of Mozart’s most beautiful concertos. In turn, the second part will open with the world premiere of Doyle’s ‘Piano Fantasia’. Non-film compositions will introduce the audience to the final part – that is, a selection of the most famous passages in Doyle’s work for the cinema, during which it will be possible to hear fairy-tale and epic sounds, but also the panache of Hollywood costume cinema, conducted by Katarzyna Tomala-Jedynak.
