On Monday, March 10th, 2025, legendary composer Bruce Broughton will celebrate his 80th birthday with a concert at the University of Southern California, performed by the Brass Studios of USC, with special guest David Cooper and conducted by Sharon Lavery, plus Elizabeth Chou and Benjamin Salisbury on piano.
The program will include:
- Variations on a Sonata – Neha Kudva, Tuba
- A Tent Meeting Revival and Hallelujah Wind Up – Arisa Makita, Euphonium
- Jackhammer – USC Tuba Quartet
- Variations (World Premiere) – Logan Westerviller, Tuba
- Sonata for Horn – David Cooper, Horn
- Silverado – USC Horn Ensemble
