Abbey Road Studios is giving a unique opportunity to aspiring film composers to showcase their work, where one lucky composer will get the chance to win a personal feedback session with composer Arturo Cardelús.
Arturo Cardelús’ evocative score to the movie ‘Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles’, directed by Salvador Simó, was recorded at Abbey Road in 2018, and now, teaming up with BFI (British Film Institute), they bring you an exclusive competition: to score a scene from the movie, for the opportunity of a 30-minute personal online video conference feedback session with the film’s composer, Arturo Cardelús, organized and provided by Abbey Road.
Arturo will choose the winner on the merit of originality, invention, and artistic values of the submitted production. The winner’s cue will be streamed on Abbey Road’s Instagram channel.
To participate you have to download the video footage and when ready, email both the video file of the clip synchronised with your original composition, and a .WAV/MP3 with the music only, to productionhub@abbeyroad.com by midnight on Saturday 22 August 2020.
