Next Sunday, August 19th, the Estepona Music Band conducted by José Antonio López Camacho, will perform a free film music concert of at the Plaza del Reloj (Estepona, Spain), entitled ‘The Music and the Cinema’, which will serve as presentation of the XIXth Fantastic Costa del Sol International Film Fest to be held from 9-15 September 2018.

 

The program will include the following works:

 

FIRST PART

  • 20th CENTURY FOX FANFARE – Alfred Newman (1901-1970)
  • BEN-HUR – Miklós Rózsa (1907-1995) (arr. John Glenesk Mortimer)
  • CONAN EL BÁRBARO – Anvil of Crom – Love Theme – Battle and ending – Basil Poledouris (1945-2006) (arr. M. González Granero)
  • STAR TREK TROUGH THE GENERATIONS – Jerry Goldsmith (1929-2004) / Dennis McCarthy (1945) (arr. Hans van der Heide)

 

SECOND PART

  • MISSIÓN IMPOSSIBLE THEME – Lalo Schifrin (1932-) (arr. Toshio Mashima)
  • AVATAR SOUNDTRACK HIGHLIGHTS – James Horner (1953-2015) (arr. Jay Bocook)
  • PIRATES OF THE CARIBEAN: “AT WORLD’S END” – Hans Zimmer (1957-) (arr. Erik Rozendom)
  • INDIANA JONES SELECTION – John Williams (1932-) (arr. Hans van der Heide)
