Concert ‘The Song of the Earth’ with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and Tan Dun

As a part of the 12th edition of the MISA – Music in the Summer Air festival (10-24.07.2021), the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra conducted by Tan Dun will perform tomorrow, Wednesday, July 14 in Shanghai, a concert entitled ‘The Song of the Earth’, with the following program:

 

• Mahler (arr. Schoenberg): Das Lied von der Erde
  • Mezzo-Soprano: Hongni Wu; Tenor: Wang Feng
• Tan Dun: Earth Concerto for Ceramic Percussion and Orchestra
  • Ceramic Bass-Horn: Zhang Meng; Percussion: Fu Yifei, Rong Chenchu, Zhang Xinru
