On the occasion of the celebration of the XXVth anniversary of its foundation, the Coro Ziryab / Ziryab Chroir of Córdoba (Spain) has organized a concert entitled “Un Coro de Cine (A film choir)”, which will take place next Saturday, October 13th at the Gran Teatro de Córdoba.
This concert aims to be a summary of the history of the film music performed by the choir during the last two decades, and the program will highlight the scores of Roque Baños and Fernando Velázquez, with whom the choir has worked intensively in many places in Spain since 2008 (Úbeda, Córdoba, Jumilla, Málaga, Badajoz, Madrid, Cádiz, Seville…).
The concert has been sponsored by the Caja Sur Foundation and the Delegation of Culture of the City of Córdoba and for the occasion the Provincial Symphony Orchestra of Malaga will perform as a guest orchestra under the baton of José Luis Temes.
