OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION

Following the great success of the first edition of Hollywood in Bern last season, the Berner Symphonieorchester is continuing its journey of discovery through the world of cinema. Compositions from the “Golden Era” of Hollywood such as the 20th Century Fox fanfare by Alfred Newman are on the program as well as modern classics from the pen of John Williams (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jaws), Ennio Morricone, or Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future). A varied concert for the whole family, spanning a broad spectrum from The Godfather and Titanic to Mary Poppins, Ghostbusters and The Neverending Story. The Bern Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by our Principal Conductor Artem Lonhinov.
