The DR Symfoniorkestret conducted by Christian Schumann and the DR Big Band, have joined forces to form a giant film orchestra that can do it all for a party in the world of cartoons.
They will perform three concerts this weekend at the DR Koncerthuset in Copehnagen, Denmark, together with two strong vocal soloists, Jimmy Jørgensen and Sinne Eeg, and a large choir of singers from the DR Koncertkoret and the DR Vokalensemblet, hosted by Jakob Stegelmann.
The program will include hits from The Jungle Book and Toy Story, or songs from Lady & The Tramp and Who Framed Roger Rabbit – together with the colorful music from classics like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny and The Three Little Pigs or Pixar and DreamWorks hits How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, Wall-e, The Prince of Egypt, Valhalla – and many more.
