The composer and orchestra conductor Diego Navarro conducted on Saturday, December 1st, the concert offered in Lyon (Francia) within the European part of the Maria Callas Hologram Tour.
This way, Diego Navarro collaborates with Eimear Noone, main conductor of the tour, taking charge of the last two concerts of the tour for 2018: the one of last Saturday in Lyon, and the one to be celebrated today, Monday, December 3rd in Basel (Switzerland).
In the words of Diego Navarro: “Probably, the most challenging and complicated project as a conductor ever, in my entire career. What a thrill to be able to live this experience. At the very end…, as an encore, conducting the famous ‘Casta Diva’ aria from Norma, I closed my eyes while hearing María Callas on my back. She was there….it was really a dream come true…, an experience I always will treasure…”
