On Thursday, July 2, 2020 the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestra conducted by Alastair King and with composer John Lunn at the piano, will perform ‘Downton Abbey – Live In Concert’ at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall (Liverpool, UK).
This official celebration of the worldwide TV show, will have the participation of actress Phyllis Logan (Mrs Hughes in the TV series), hosting the event and looking back over her time at Downton Abbey to remember the many characters that filled the home over the years. Songs from Downton – including ‘I’ll Count The Days’ and ‘If You Were The Only Girl In The World’ – will be performed by guest singers, accompanied by the orchestra.
This event is not a film screening or film with live orchestra concert, but will include specially-created visuals, film clips and images, with live orchestral accompaniment.
