The music of the composer and virtuoso British violinist Jocelyn Pook, will be the protagonist of the cycle of films that the Filmoteca CajaCanarias will screen this November.
The cycle started on Monday, November 5 with the film ‘Eyes Wide shut (1999) dir. Stanley Kubrick’ and will continue on November 12 with ‘The Merchant of Venice (2004) dir. Michael Radford’, on November 19 with ‘Caótica Ana (2007) dir. Julio Medem’, to end on November 26 with ‘Room in Rome (2010) dir. Julio Medem’.
The films will be screened at 8 pm at the CajaCanarias Cultural Space of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain) and the tickets will cost 2€ – http://www.cajacanarias.com/microsites/filmoteca-cajacanarias/2018/noviembre/
The cycle will end with a concert on Friday, November 30, where Jocelyn Pook will be accompanied by the main musicians who performed the soundtracks of the movies.
