The LCCM Music College in London will host a free workshop tomorrow Tuesday, April 25th, where Frank Ilfman will be in conversation with LCCM Composition for Film Games and other Media tutor Christopher Barnett breaking down his score for the movie ‘Gunpowder Milkshake’ having a good old chat.
Frank’s journey as a composer began at a young age when he discovered his love for music. He studied piano and trombone at the prestigious Jaffa Conservatorium of Music in Tel Aviv, where he honed his skills as a musician and gained a solid foundation in classical music.
One of Frank’s most notable achievements is the Saturn Award for Best Original Music for his work on the hit black comedy horror film Big Bad Wolves. This award recognized Frank’s exceptional talent and solidified his place as a top-tier composer in the film industry. He has since gone on to work on critically acclaimed films such as Gunpowder Milkshake, Ghost Stories, The Operative, and The Etruscan Smile, showcasing his versatility as a composer and his ability to create powerful and evocative music for a wide range of genres.
