On Sunday, July 16th, John Williams conducted the “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, to celebrate its 225th anniversary, and was named Honorary Marine.
The title of Honorary Marine was conferred by former Commandant of the Marine Corps General David H. Berger, and was presented by Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps General Eric M. Smith.
