The Academy of Scoring Arts has organized today Saturday 19th of May, an event with renowned composer Joe Kraemer (Jack Reacher, Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation), where he will give insights into his life and work, and will also take a look at the colorful tone poem ‘The Pines of Rome (1924)’ by Italian composer Ottorino Resphigi. This four-movement work for orchestra depicts pine trees in four locations in Rome at different times of day, and contains wonderful composition and orchestration insights for all modern composers.
