The Middleburg Film Festival 2019, to be celebrated October 17-20 in Middleburg (Virginia, USA), will host a tribute concert to composer Terence Blanchard on Sunday, October 20th.
During the concert, Terence Blanchard & the E-Collective, along with a 30-piece orchestra, will perform selections from some of Blanchard’s most memorable scores including Mo’ Better Blues, a Spike Lee Triptych, When the Levees Broke, Miracle at St. Anna, The Comedian, BlacKkKlansman, and Harriet, with orchestral arrangements prepared by Mikael Carlsson. Between selections, Terence Blanchard will talk about his creative process.
