This Saturday, March 9, the winners of the 27th edition of the Malaga Festival have been announced, in which the film “Second Prize” by Isaki Lacuesta and Pol Rodríguez has won the Biznaga de Oro for the Best Spanish Film, in addition to receiving the Biznaga de Plata for Best Direction and Best Editing (complete winners list in this link: https://festivaldemalaga.com/actualidad/ver-noticia/?id=2355).
Regarding to the Best Music Category, the Biznaga de Plata winner was the veteran composer Fernando Velázquez for his work on “La casa”, a movie directed by Álex Montoya, who collected the award at the closing gala held on Saturday at the Teatro Cervantes in Malaga. “La casa” has also been awarded the Audience Award Biznaga de Plata ‘Iryo’ and the Best Original Script, in addition to the Feroz Puerta Oscura 2024 Award for the Best Film in Competition at the Malaga Festival.
