Today Friday, October 26th, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León (OSCyL) conducted by Damian Iorio, will perform the soundtrack of Harold Lloyd’s silent film ‘Safety Last! 1923’ during the 63rd edition of the SEMINCI Festival in Valladolid (Spain).
In the concert, the new score composed by Carl Davis in 1989 will be performed, which takes as its starting point the instrumental formation of Paul Whiteman‘s band, with its peculiar vintage sound, and is inspired by the popular music of the twenties.
At 7:30 p.m. there will be a welcome conference by Miguel Ángel Recio, pianist of the Professional Dance School of Castilla y León.
