Next Thursday, November 2 at 19:00h, the Screening Room of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain in Madrid, will host a special meeting entitled ‘Composition, recording and mixing of music for film’ with free admission (reservation required), organized in collaboration with APSA, Alianza Audiovisual, and Musimagen.
The meeting will feature composer Vanessa Garde, mixer José Luis Crespo, and sound editing supervisor Paloma Huelin, who will discuss their work on Nacho Alvarez’s Explota, Explota, Claudia Pinto’s Mientras seas Tú, and Jaume Balagueró’s Venus. The meeting will be moderated by Luis Ivars, musician and composer, member of the Academy, member of the board of directors in the specialty of music, President of Alianza Audiovisual and Vocal of Musimagen.
