The XXIVth edition of music bands contest ‘Alfonso Mazuela’ of Montefrío (Granada, Spain), will offer next Saturday, August 10, a free film music concert, as a tribute to the music of John Williams for the Star Wars saga and Michael Giacchino’s music for Rogue One.
The concert will be performed by the Chauchina Municipal Music Band, the Montefrío Music Band, and the Huétor Vega Music Band, under the baton of José Antonio Hermoso and Óscar Musso. The pieces that will be performed are arranged by Robert Smith, Paul Murtha, Jay Bocook, Oscar Musso, Michael Brown, Johan de Meij and Luisle Hita.
The event will include the projection of scenes from the movies and will feature the collaboration of fans of the saga, which will be disguised as well-known Star Wars characters.
