UPDATE (24/1/22): New dates announced, June 10 & 11, 2022 (read more)
The two movie-concerts of ‘West Side Story (1957)’, that the City Lights Symphony Orchestra led by Anthony Gabriele was going to perform in Luzern (Switzerland) on January 6 & 7, 2022, have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. New dates will be announced soon (expected to be in June 2022).
Official statement:
“Due to the current pandemic situation and the associated challenges and uncertainties regarding the realization of projects with symphony orchestras, this concert has been postponed in consultation with all partners involved. The new date is expected to be in June 2022. Updates on this will follow as soon as possible. Tickets already purchased for this concert will remain valid for the following rescheduled date.
