The world premiere concert “Ennio Morricone – Marco Polo Soundtrack” will be held today, Saturday, June 29 @ 21h at the Malibran Theater in Venice, Italy.

 

The show, included in the calendar of #MarcoPolo700 events, offers for the first time in live performance the soundtrack composed by Maestro Ennio Morricone for the RAI TV showMarco Polo’. On stage, more than one hundred artists from the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta and the Cantori Veneziani, conducted by Danilo Rossi, viola soloist. Choir director, Diana D’Alessio.

 

This is a unique opportunity to hear, from a live orchestra, the timeless melodies of maestro Morricone original scores, accompanied by the images of one of Rai’s most successful screenplays, directed by Giuliano Montaldo (1930-2023). An unprecedented production, embracing music, cinema and history, made possible by the collaboration with Rai, which made the images available, and with the Morricone family, which granted the original scores.

 

Last minute tickets will be available at the theater ticket box starting at 19h.
