Tomorrow Sunday, violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter will perform a world premiere of a piece called “Markings”, written specially for her by maestro John Williams, which includes solo violin, strings and harp.
The concert will be performed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andris Nelsons, and the program will be completed with Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, one of the most popular concertos for the instrument, and Berlioz’s dazzling Symphonie fantastique.
