UPDATED (23/7/2021): New dates in November, schedule, and ticket sales announced (read more)
The organizers of FIMUCS – Festival Internacional de Música de Cine Sevilla – Seville International Film Music Festival, the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla – ROSS, Loyola University, Sevilla Film Orchestra, and SoundTrackFest, have been forced to postpone the 1st edition of the festival, due to the current time and mobility restrictions derived from the pandemic, which make impossible to carry out the festival under the planned conditions.
The festival, which was going to be held from March 4 to 7 in Seville (Spain), having its two main concerts on Thursday 4 and Friday 5, is moved in its entirety to Friday 19 and Saturday 20 Thursday 25 and Friday 26 November 2021, to go hand in hand with the Seville Film Festival – European Film Festival (5-13 November 2021), a possibility that was already anticipated at the press conference last month.
Below is the full press release with all the details of this postponement (Spanish Only):
From SoundTrackFest we would like to thank and apologize to all the people who had already planned their trip and who are forced to change their plans, as well as to thank enormously the guests of this first edition for their support and understanding with this change of date, with the illusion and the certainty that in November we will be able to enjoy the enormous work they have done, in many cases creating works that did not exist to be presented for the first time in this first edition.
This postponement is just a “see you later”. See you in November, where we hope that the situation will be back to a long-awaited normality, allowing us to enjoy the concerts, master classes, and meetings in good harmony and in better company.
