The Berliner Philharmoniker has announced that renowned composer John Williams will take the baton and lead the orchestra in October 2021, in three concerts entitled “John Williams conducts John Williams”.
The program will include his legendary film music from Indiana Jones, E. T., Superman, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and other movies, together with his concert work ‘Elegy for Cello and Orchestra’ performed by cellist Bruno Delepelaire.

At the moment, only tickets for the concerts on Thursday, October 14, and Friday, October 15 are available in 6-concert packages, ranging in price from 135 to 432 € the package (read more). Individual tickets for the three concerts, including the concert on Saturday, October 16, which is not part of any package, will go on sale from August 9.
Tickets, which will be available on August 9 at 9:00 am CEST, will be priced between 35 € and 98 € per concert.
Additionally, the concert on Saturday, October 16th, will be broadcast online at the Berliner Philharmoniker Digital Hall (tickets 9,99€):
